An appeal is the process of appealing a decision made by a judge to the Appellate Court or Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts
or Connecticut or as a last effort to the United States Supreme Court. An appeal is not an argument about the facts but rather
an argument that the client did not receive a fair trial (i.e. that the trial judge made an error(s) interpreting the law
during the trial and it caused an unfair trial for the client).
